Prof. Hongki Kang

Associate Professor

Electrical Engineering and Computer Science @ DGIST

Prof. Hongki Kang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at DGIST (Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science & Technology) in South Korea. He has previously worked on Semiconductor Devices (e.g. Transistors, Sensors), Microfabrication processes & Additive Manufacturing (e.g. Printing), and Bioelectronics & Neural Engineering (Brain-Microelectronics Interface, Neuromodulation).

He received his BS in Electrical Engineering from KAIST in 2008, MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from University of California, Berkeley in 2010 and 2013 respectively. During his graduate studies, he mostly focused on Semiconductor devices and micro fabrication processes including printing for flexible electronics. Since then, he went onto expand his research areas towards Neural engineering & Bioengineering during postdoc.

Please see schedule for his availability if needed to make an appointment.

When he is free, he likes to travel, enjoys foods from all over the world, watches sports, and plays guitar.
