Assistant Professor

Information & Communication Engineering @ DGIST


On February 2019, I joined the Department of Information and Communication Engineering at DGIST (Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science & Technology) in South Korea as an Assistant Professor. I will be mostly working on Bioelectronics & Neural Engineering (Brain-Microelectronics Interface, Neuromodulation) areas of research using microelectronics, micro-fabrication processes, and new bio-functional materials.

I received my BS in Electrical Engineering from KAIST in 2008, MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from University of California, Berkeley in 2010 and 2013 respectively. During my graduate studies, I mostly focused on Semiconductor devices and micro fabrication processes including printing for flexible electronics. Since then, I went onto expand my research area towards Neural engineering & Bioengineering during my postdoc.
